"overlook" is always written in lower case. This is to symbolise that everyone at overlook (and basically as it should be in our society) is pulling in the same direction and working together on the same level for more sustainability.
We gender with a colon (in german). The gender colon is judged more readable than the asterisk or underscore and includes both masculine, feminine and non-binary, diverse gendered people. We see linguistic gendering as an important way to improve gender equity and fully support this change.
We always speak of overlook members. The word user has been dropped from our vocabulary. Why? Users use something. Members are an active part of something. We want to build a community, which is why we are looking not only for users but also for participants. Together for change!
